I Gained my DHP (Diploma Hypno-Psychotherapy) at Centre Training International School of Hypnotherapy &
Psychotherapy. One of only three hypnotherapy-training organisations accepted as members of The United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Also, I have a practitioner Certificate in EFT Level 3 (Emotional Freedom Technique).
I am currently working as an associate Hypnotherapist in the Hypnae
Center at Camden Medical Centre in Singapore
My background prior to this was in business, running a specialised furniture manufacturing Company, in London, UK, for 18
years. Running a business, or even a life, can be a very challenging and rewarding experience. But, the extent to which we
allow the situation to run us is what makes it stressful.
To me, running my own business was a very high stress environment and it was this, self imposed, stress
that led me to Hypnotherapy (in the client’s chair). This personal experience of Hypnotherapy was a life changing event
for me and eventually took me in the direction of becoming a Hypnotherapist. Having been in that same or similar situation
as many clients allows me to have compassion, empathy and most importantly hope for my client’s future.
Success, is sometimes, as much,
knowing what not to do; as it is knowing what to do!
My approach to Therapy is eclectic, using Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy
and EFT and Counselling Techniques towards healing.
